When I was in sixth grade, I read a book called A Long Walk to Water. This is the true story of an 11 year old refugee of the first Sudanese civil war. He then came to the U.S. and started a non-profit organization to bring clean water to his home country. This fundraising project is an effort to raise $15,000 to drill a well through Water for South Sudan, a BBB accredited and 501 (c)(3) organization. We currently are not planning any new events, as we have reached our goal (!!!) but stay tuned for updates!
A donation of time, support, or a monetary donation is the most valuable show of support. This donation will help support us reaching our goal and helping the people of South Sudan.
